Mark your calendar for the biggest night in Jersey Shore sports!

The APP Sports Awards, presented by RWJBarnabas Health, will be held June 15, 2020, at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. It's all about recognizing and honoring the top athletic accomplishments in Jersey Shore high school sports.

The show will feature award presentations, interactive contests and an on-stage Q&A with a celebrity guest to be announced at a later date.

More than 300 Shore Conference high school athletes were honored at the fourth annual Asbury Park Press Sports Awards at the Count Basie Center for the Arts. Asbury Park Press

The doors and "Red Carpet" will open at 6 p.m. and the award show begins at 7 p.m.

The Player of the Year will be crowned for various sports, and other awards include the Courage Award and Play of the Year Award.

This is our way of honoring high school student athletes who volunteer their time to benefit those in their communities.

Community: I AM SPORT Award

The winner will be announced live at the APP Sports Awards.

The voting period is underway -- vote NOW at this link for your favorite nominee (you may vote once per day).

All nominees will be invited to RSVP for 2 complimentary tickets (1 for themselves and 1 for a complimentary guest) to the Asbury Park Press Sports Awards, presented by RWJBarnabas Health. The winner of the I AM SPORT Award will be announced live at the show and called to the stage to receive their trophy.
